State of Origin 2020: Game 1, Game 2, Game 3

Game 1 of 2020 State of Origin will be played on the 3rd of June in Adelaide. Adelaide was chosen as the venue of the first game in the series after the success of the games that were played in Melbourne and Perth in recent years.

Game 2 of 2020 State of Origin series will be played on the 21st of June in Sydney. Game 2 is always a pivotal game in the series. It usually tells whether the series is likely to end in a whitewash or if Game 3 will be the deciding game in the series.

Game 3, the final match of the series, is slated for the 8th of July in Brisbane. Here, the winner of the 2020 State of Origin will be presented with the shield. Millions of fans worldwide will be looking to see who emerges the winner of the 40th State of Origin series.

Here are the venues of the games in the series;

  • Game 1: slated for Wednesday, 3rd of June 2020 at Adelaide Oval, SA, Australia. Kick-off time is 8 pm local time.
  • Game 2: slated for Sunday 21st of June 2020 at the ANZ Stadium, Homebush, NSW, Australia. Kick-off time is 6 pm local time.
  • Game 3: the final game will take place at the Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, QLD, Australia on Wednesday, 8th of July 2020.

State of Origin will be televised by Nine Network on Channel 9. At the time, the broadcast times are yet to be revealed for any of the games in the series.
